How can I, or should I, pay for items offered on MyStore?
All payments you make for purchases on MyStore go directly to sellers. MyStore is not part of your transaction. When a seller creates a MyStore they select what types of payments they will accept.
NO MATTER WHAT, DO NOT AGREE TO PAY USING WESTERN UNION OR WIRE TRANSFER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!
NEVER GIVE OUT PERSONAL FINANCIAL INFORMATION (bank account or credit card numbers, social security number, eBay/PayPal info, etc.) directly TO SELLERS.
When using MyStore's secured checkout system, your Revolution Money, Google Checkout, Paypal or credit card information is never collected, or stored by, MyStore or the seller. Instead, at the time of checkout MyStore connects you directly to Revolution Money, Google Checkout or Paypal's website and this information is collected by, and on, their websites. Once payment is completed, they will send a notice to MyStore that payment has been processed and connect you back to MyStore to finish your checkout. Additionally, both you and the seller will receive email confirmations of the transaction directly from them as well as from MyStore, that your payment has been made.
DO NOT USE ONLINE ESCROW SERVICES. Most are scams. You may however want to use a escrow you know to be legitimate.
IF THE ITEM IS CLOSE BY:
If the item you wish to purchase is close by, go check it out and pay with cash. Always ask for a signed receipt.You should purchase the item here first even when paying with cash by checking the Cash option at checkout. This way, the item is put on hold, a record of the sale is recorded and you can come back later and report your satisfaction with the seller or their item.
IF THE ITEM IS NOT CLOSE BY:
The next best option is to use Revolution Money, Paypal, Google Checkout or a credit card.
1. If you already have a Revolution Money, Paypal or Google Checkout account you can use it to pay.
2. If you don't have one of these accounts no problem, you can still use one of them to checkout and then use a credit card. Both Paypal and Google Checkout will allow you to pay using a credit card without having an account.
3. You can set up your own Revolution Money, Paypal or Google account and pay for your item at the same time when you checkout.
How do I close a MyStore?
Well, first we suggest you simply remove all the items from your store. This way, if later you have new items to sell, you can simply add them. Second, we can inactivate your MyStore so that it or its information will not be publicly displayed. Simply send us an email to: cancel@mystore.com. Be sure to include your store name. Because, MyStore does not store any real vital personal data and you have the option to change or restrict how much of their data is displayed, there should be no real concern for privacy. However, if you are concerned about this please send us an email at: privacy@mystore.com.
How do I report a bad seller?
On every MyStore under the seller logo or picture there is a link Report this Store. Simply send us the alert.
We will investigate. You can also add a comment about the seller or store using the Comments link.

When I try to login to MyStore I get the Error: No match for Username and/or Password, what does this mean? I know I signed up.
It may mean you have not replied to the confirmation email sent to you. In order to activate your MyStore account, you must reply to this email first. You may want to check your junk mail folder to see if the confirmation email is there.
How do I promote my store?
First, you may want to login to your MyStore, click on the Promote Your Store button, and use the mini MyStore widget.
Second, you may want to paste your MyStore address and link in your emails, on blogs and other webites like MySpace or Facebook. Example: Check out what I'm selling at MyStore! http://www.mystore.com/bobsbikes
Third, you can ask other MyStore owners to put a link on their MyStore for you or do a link share. Example: store A sells bikes, store B sells helmets and link to each other.
Fourth, make sure the name of your store is relevant to what you are selling and your store and item descriptions are clear and complete.
How does MyStore help me promote my store?
If you are clear and complete with your store and item descriptions you will notice the title of your pages and the keywords on them include this information. This information is automatically submitted to search engines. Also MyStore sends out RSS feeds and submits all its products to product and shopping search engines like Google and MSN.
